Piecing Together Kindness: Seniors at The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center Turn Puzzles into Purpose

What:                 A heartwarming check presentation ceremony on Wednesday, July 9 at 4 pm celebrating the generosity and creativity of members at The Carnegie, a Kisco Signature senior living community in Gaithersburg.

Members turned their love for puzzles into a meaningful fundraising initiative—auctioning off dozens of beautifully completed and framed puzzles to raise $3,670 for Field Roads Elementary School.

As The Carnegie approaches its first anniversary, this event highlights the power of intergenerational connection and community spirit, as seniors demonstrate how staying active and engaged can make a lasting impact—not only enriching their own lives but also strengthening the greater community around them.

We’d love to invite you to visit the community, meet the members behind the puzzles, and see the joy this project has brought to everyone involved.
