Our Mission :

The mission of the Columbia Public Library is to make library materials and information services readily available to area residents proportionate to levels of demand and use. Special emphasis will be placed on providing current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a variety of formats, while stimulating young childrens interest and appreciation for reading and learning, and supporting the formal educational needs of individuals of all ages.
