About Us:

A small rural school district in Southeast Iowa and our small town atmosphere makes it a great place to live and raise a family. We are a PK-12 public school district with an enrollment of about 540 students.  The district is known for its strong tradition of excellence from our academics to our extra curricular activities.  Sigourney was one of the first districts to go one to one with computers in the State of Iowa over five years ago and continue to support the needs of our students in the 21st Century World.  The district continually strives for ways to better prepare our students for life after high school both academically and socially.
